Happy Birthday, You Old Man!

Woohoo!  Dad turns 33!  We had such a fun day with him too as he took the day off of work so we could play.  I started some slowcooker apple oatmeal the night before and when he woke up at 4:30a.m. (somebody was excited) he decided he would complete this birthday breakfast by going to the store and getting peaches, cottage cheese, and some Simply Orange juice.  It was a GREAT breakfast!

Blowing out the birthday breakfast candle.

Present: Decorative star to hang in our NEW house someday!  We went to IKEA to get some ideas for our house.  We dropped Ogden and Kaelyn off at the Play Area, which is the smartest, coolest thing ever.  About 5 minutes later, as I was holding Paige on my hip, I felt her diaper start to leak and she was totally peeing on me!  So I took her to the bathroom, rinsed out her pants, and then tried to dry them with the hand dryer.  It kind of worked.
Present:  a shirt from the kids. Notice Paige's wet lap.  This was from the soda she spilled--not the aforementioned leak.

Present:  Mmmmmmm. Dinner at Red Iguana.

"Paige.  Stop pulling off Abby's socks."  Going to a restaurant as a family is usually avoided at all costs, but we made it work and had a fun time.  Luckily, we were seated in the back by ourselves, so we didn't bother too many people.  Julian kept laughing at all of our chaos and the fact that Abby kept spitting up on me as I was trying to eat.  By the end of the night, I needed a big, bubbly bath!
And back at home for some chocolate pudding pie.  Happy Birthday Dad!  We sure love you!  Thanks for all you do for us!
