Movie Night!

My New Sunday Dress

Movie night at the Riley's is new thing for the "whole" family. Ogden looses his mind, while Alicia positions the T.V. so that it can fall over, and Dad loves it! Needless to say Kaelyn didn't like the movie and Ogden is... my BOY! Nothing new here in cold Idaho. We're looking toward this summer. Bar-B-Ques and swim lessons!

Pizza on the Grill Tonight

Ogden helped Dad tonight with the dinner in the garage. We had grilled pizza with fresh Basil, soft Mozzarella, and home roasted Chicken Breasts! Yummy! Come summer Ogden should be able to use the grill better than his Dad!

Shotguns,Lemons,and Love

This past weekend has been great! We spent Sat. with Brian and Natalie our best friends in Rexburg. Brian and I spent the morning at a shotgun tournament, where he made it to the second round, but was outstad because they started throwing doubles. The girls had a post baby shower thrown by Natalie, while us guys BBQed 5lbs. of pork chop and 3lbs. of salmon. We did it Texas style with Mesquite wood. Sunday's main event was not the Super Bowl, but rather the arrival of my mother and sister as they were traveling through to Aspen CO. They wanted to see baby Kaelyn. Although their short stay with us was for the day the brought with them a neat energy and love for our family. Sissy and I escaped to the clouds, as I call it, to see the windmills above the house. Later in the day Nana and Sissy gave us some very nice things that were sent from a close friend to our family. One of those things was a platter of lemons. It sparked old memories of my childhood and made me "Cry in my Peas". I loved and Alicia loved seeing them as for Frog...well let just say that after they left he slept very well. What a great weekend! I never saw it coming!

Getting Adjusted

Ogden's Lunch: Frenches Fried Onions and 1 Cherry sucker.

As this week comes to a close our family has been able to meet the goal of waking up and getting ready for the day by 10:30 am, with the exception of today, where we didn't wake up till 10 am. Kaelyn is a healthy baby girl who enjoys time with her Mom and cuddle time with her Dad and Brother. Ogden went to the "Choo Choos" (the train set at Barnes & Noble) once this week and today we went to the "slide". It's cold most of the time, so we kinda just relax at home. I've been researching Masters Programs and feel I've found a good option through Boise State. The degree will be a Masters of Science with emphasis in Educational Technology. I hope be able to, later down the road, apply this degree towards teaching college. Who knows the Doctor in me still might make a showing in this life time!
