Blue-Grass on the Green-Belt

Today I (Dad) biked close to 18 miles up and down Bone Road with my good buddy Chad after I made fresh fried chicken and then our whole family and the Jensen's went to the Bluegrass Festival and had our picnic while jamming out to the twang of guitars and banjos. Bet you wish you were here! Summer in Idaho is Perfect!

So what happens here you adopt a row and pick the weeds for the summer and then can harvest whatever you like. Yes my garden is fine but this one has everything! Even potatoes!

Today was a typical Sat. in Idaho... We ate Jim Beam Bourbon salmon and avocado tomato and Cucumber salad, the kids played in the dirt and Alicia got a new bike today!

Friday is the Best.

My Dad's Day

For my Dad's Day I got (a new to me) bike so I can bike the 9 mile round trip to and from work! If I bike 5 day of the week that's 45 miles a week!! Today will be my 5th day doing this and I love it.

The Family is Whole Again!
