Other Captured Memories

We made it to the top of the "Y"

Oquirrh (sp?) Mt. Temple in the background

Paige meets Great Grandma Anderson

. . .and sticks her tongue out at Great Grandpa

Uh-oh.

Little mommy

Puppy-dog.

I Love to see the Temple!

After a yummy Sunday dinner, we headed to the temple for a little stroll which turned into a photo shoot. It was fun and right up my alley for a Sunday/Mother's Day activity.

Hmmmm. Why are there legs under the tree. Oh! That would be our emergency potty. Which would be better: a) a trail of urine on the temple grounds leading to the closest open building with a potty, or b) an inconspicuous puddle under a tree next to the temple? And yes, both the kids marked their territory.

I'm not sure how we captured this, but I think it's the I'm-making-nice-noises-but-am-getting-frustrated-and-need-to-sleep face.

Ode to My Husband

I know you all have amazing husbands, but I really got myself a winner. Mother's Day, of course, was a wonderful day full of 5 star meals and homemade cards and void of all kitchen duties. Now here's the real kicker: I get treated like this frequently. I don't know how I lucked out to marry a man who works all day and still likes to come home and make dinner. (Okay, I have a clue. He knows that his meals have a better outcome.) And, more and more often, I will come in the kitchen after tending to Paige, and the kitchen will be clean AND done better than me. Also, now that he is so health conscience, he makes sure I have time to go for my runs and understands that I am nicer when I get that chance. So, anyway. Thank you, Julian, for all you do for me. Thank you for being a great dad and having a good relationship with our kids. Thank you for working so hard for our family. I love you!

It has been brought to our attention that Paige's hair resembles that of a troll doll. Yes, it's true.

Paige's 4 month update

It's been a while since I shared some fun tidbits about Paige. She is such a cutie. She is learning to control her hands a little better. She's so funny when she looks at her hand and slowly brings it to her mouth and sucks on a finger, and every once in a while another finger will simultaneously (accidentally) end up in the nose. Oops! She had her 4 month check up & here's the stats:

Weight: 12lb 8oz. 25 percentile
Length: 25 in 75 percentile
Head: 40 1/2 cm 40 percentile

She's doing very well. Ogden and Kaelyn are such good siblings. They always want to give hugs and kisses. Nights are going pretty good. I haven't slept on the couch for a while, so that's a good sign. Paige continues to get many comments about her awesome hairstyle. Fortunately, she hasn't gotten kicked out of BYU for having an "extreme" hairstyle.
