Shotguns,Lemons,and Love

This past weekend has been great! We spent Sat. with Brian and Natalie our best friends in Rexburg. Brian and I spent the morning at a shotgun tournament, where he made it to the second round, but was outstad because they started throwing doubles. The girls had a post baby shower thrown by Natalie, while us guys BBQed 5lbs. of pork chop and 3lbs. of salmon. We did it Texas style with Mesquite wood. Sunday's main event was not the Super Bowl, but rather the arrival of my mother and sister as they were traveling through to Aspen CO. They wanted to see baby Kaelyn. Although their short stay with us was for the day the brought with them a neat energy and love for our family. Sissy and I escaped to the clouds, as I call it, to see the windmills above the house. Later in the day Nana and Sissy gave us some very nice things that were sent from a close friend to our family. One of those things was a platter of lemons. It sparked old memories of my childhood and made me "Cry in my Peas". I loved and Alicia loved seeing them as for Frog...well let just say that after they left he slept very well. What a great weekend! I never saw it coming!
