Christmas Vacation--Alas!

Me and my baby sister at Temple Square. Not really so baby anymore--she's 16 now! Crazy!
The kids love Alex. He is so good with them and is a sucker for piggy back rides.
Mom & Dad a.k.a Grandma and Grandpa. My family just moved to Elko, Nevada from Nebraska. Very nice for me, seeing how it cuts the distance down by about 15 driving hours. We get to see them a lot more now. Yea for memories!
And what's any vacation without an ear infection. And guess how hard it is to find a doctor on Christmas Eve?

What the? Why is there a Wii outside our front door?

Christmas jammies from the Evans. They are so kind and thoughtful to include us in their traditions.

dressed for the nativity
so excited to make the candy cane sleds!
Failed at my only job: Don't let the crockpot tip. Oops! And Julian's make the best comment ever: "I just don't know how you do it. If I was as clumsy as you, I would slit my wrists." Hmmm. Good one.
Mmmmm. Jared's rolls.
Kyrie, Grace, and Kaelyn. Can you just sense the amount of sass?
Kaelyn and Kyrie
"Bounce me Ogden!" Love Jump On It, especially in the winter!
Paige, of course, enjoys ice skating by sitting in her stroller. Such a sport!
Ogden improvises when all the scooters are taken.
Loved the special walkers for ice skating! Looked like a little special olympics with the little kids scootering around.
Ogden and Mrs. Gibson. Ogden loved his first 1st grade teacher. This was his last day of school before Christmas and then we switched to the Cherry Creek in Springville, which he likes as well. However, if given the choice, he would still choose to go back to Mrs. Gibson's class.

We almost didn't make it to his last day of school and Christmas concert because of this huge snow dumping. All of the Springville schools were cancelled, but not Provo.

My Face Doesn't Like Being Pregnant

This is our 4th baby and I have realized that I hardly have any pictures or documentation of my pregnancies. So here's a couple that I will allow to be posted. These are at about 5 1/2-6 months. I am now about 6 1/2 months and much larger.

You know how people talk about the pregnancy glow? Well, I don't get that. Instead I get these:

They aren't very attractive. And I get them all over my face and arms. After Paige was born, I had to get about 30+ burned off. Zap, zap, zap.

Other than not enjoying the puffy and blotchy face and outbreak of these red spots, I have had a great

pregnancy and really can't complain. I get a little tired, but nothing our afternoon rest-time can't take care of.

We are looking forward to meeting our little princess, who is temporarily being named Abby/Abbie. I can't

believe how close we are. And yet so much growing to go.

Easter!

Well, I may have missed Christmas and a couple birthdays and many more posts, but Easter is taken care of. And what a fun Easter it was! Paige is almost 16 months and it is such a fun age to see her take all the festivities in. Our Easter bunny comes on Saturday, and lucky for us, the kids forgot all about that detail. They knew Easter was on Sunday, so they weren't expecting the trail of candy the messy bunny left in their rooms. Ogden woke up and came to Kaelyn (who was still sleeping) and Kaelyn said, "Ogden, you made this mess!" We had fun decorating eggs, going to the ward Easter Scramble, and enjoying our Easter Sunday.

"I like to move it, move it..."

Paige really feels the beat of music. We finally caught some of her moves on video.
